Consumers’ mobile numbers and email IDs in TGSPDCL bills
TGSPDCL electricity bills will now display consumers' mobile numbers, email IDs, Telangana name, and officials’ contact details, allowing easier corrections
HYDERABAD: Starting this month, the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) electricity bills would carry consumers’ mobile phone numbers and email IDs. In case of any discrepancies in the printed mobile number or other details, consumers can get them corrected through the company’s official website or mobile app.
This apart, the TGSPDCL has also decided to prominently print the word “Telangana” along with its name on the bills, said TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Musharraf Faruqui in a statement here on Saturday.
Furthermore, to facilitate consumers directly approach concerned officials in case of any issues, the mobile numbers of the respective Assistant Engineer (AE) / Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) and Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) are already being printed on the electricity bills.
