TGSPDCL electricity bills will now display consumers' mobile numbers, email IDs, Telangana name, and officials’ contact details, allowing easier corrections
The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) launched ‘Currentolla Praja Baata’, a consumer outreach initiative covering six districts. Under the programme, officials and field staff will visit consumers thrice a week to inspect networks, gather feedback and resolve complaints
Last month, Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched several Emergency Response Team vehicles. Based on their performance, TGSPDCL Chairman & Managing Director Musharraf Ali Faruqui has now allocated a total of 101 vehicles: 50 for the Metro Zone, 21 for Rangareddy Zone, 19 for Medchal Zone, and 11 for the Rural Zone, supplementing the company’s existing fleet.
TGSPDCL CMD Musharraf Ali Faruqui who held a review meeting along with TRANSCO Director Jagath Reddy directed officials to improve the distribution and transmission system to cope with the high power demand in the ensuing summer season.
