Hyderabad: Contemporary Now is bringing together India’s most influential galleries and their contemporary artworks to Hyderabad from November 21 to 25 at Spirit Connect, near Rama Naidu Studio, Film Nagar.
Contemporary Now’s first edition in Hyderabad, following its debut in Chennai, brings together 34 senior contemporary artists from five leading galleries, showcasing works that explore identity, memory and everyday life through figuration and abstraction. The art show is presented by Art Connect, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Chennai-based Ashvita’s, along with Ojas Art, Asign, Archer Art Gallery and Art Alive Gallery.
The participating galleries bring together curatorial expertise, historical insight and a diverse range of artistic voices, supported by contributions from additional partner galleries.
“This is not just an art show, it is an invitation to engage, reflect and begin collecting with intention,” says Miheeka Bajaj, Founder of Art Connect. Ashvin E Rajagopalan, Director of Ashvita, says Contemporary Now offers a rare opportunity to encounter works that speak to memory, identity and form, with each piece being a conversation waiting to happen.
