Hyderabad: A cordon and search operation was conducted at the Gruhakalpa buildings in Vikarabad town by the police on Monday.

Tobacco products, PDS rice, two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws along with two daggers were seized by the police contingent under the supervision of Vikarabad Superintendent of Police, N Koti Reddy.

The SP said the people should always be watchful and inform the police about nefarious activities in their neighbourhood. He said that the people could inform the police through Dial 100.

The SP also advised the youth to prepare for police jobs as the government would issue a notification soon. He also asked them to enroll for the pre-recruitment police training programmes to be organised for job aspirants.
