Sangareddy: A couple was electrocuted at a farmhouse in Sangareddy district when they came in touch with a live wire accidentally.

The victims were identified as Srinivas (46) and Devi (38), natives of Andhra Pradesh. They were working as farm help and were living in the farm at Vendikcol village of Pulkal.

On Saturday evening, Srinivas tried to switch on power when he suffered an electric shock. In an attempt to save her husband, Devi, who touched Srinivas, also suffered serious electric shock. The couple died on the spot. However, the incident came to light on Sunday morning. Police have registered a case. The couple is survived by three children.
