Hyderabad: A couple survived with minor injuries after a container slipped off a lorry and fell on their car at Dundigal on Wednesday night.
The couple were travelling in a Swift Dzire car on the Suraram tank bridge when the lorry carrying the container tried to overtake the car.
“The container suddenly slipped off the lorry and fell on the car,” the police said.
Passersby pulled out the couple from the car and shifted them to hospital as they sustained minor injuries. The car was damaged in the incident.
The Dundigal police are investigating.
