Two youngsters were killed and two others injured after a speeding car rammed into a parked lorry on the Karimnagar bypass road near Bommakal flyover late on Thursday night. Police registered a case and launched an investigation.

A 10-month-old baby girl was crushed to death by a reversing lorry at a cement bricks manufacturing unit in Seetharampalli village of Mancherial district on Sunday. Police registered a case against the driver following a complaint.

Twelve passengers were injured when a TGSRTC bus from Nizamabad to Warangal collided with a lorry at Sadasivpalli, Manakondur mandal, Karimnagar. The injured were shifted to the district hospital. Police suspect over-speeding and have launched an investigation.

The accident also resulted in injuries to two other individuals. The deceased have been identified as residents of Keesamudram Mandal in Mahabubabad District.

Neradigonda police said five daily wage earners had grievous injuries, while four others sustained minor injuries when the lorry dashed against the auto at a temple. All of them were daily wage labourers from Maharashtra

The condition of two of the injured is stated to be critical. Police said the driver of a sand lorry coming from Hyderabad hit a bike at Pusala chowk injuring a couple Hussain and Naseema.

The victims from Warangal were on their way to collect honey in the forest area when the accident occurred.

According to Wankidi Sub-Inspector D Sagar, two policemen were stationed at the lorry for five hours to prevent locals from looting tomatoes.

In a freak accident near the cotton market at Julurpad in the district during the wee hours of Saturday, a driver sustained injuries, and the cabin of an ash tanker and a lorry were burnt.

The victims were identified as Raju (16) and Madhu (19).

With the vehicle catching fire soon after the crash, the driver and his assistant on the container lorry were charred to death.
