Covid-19: 152 new cases and two fatalities in Telangana
A total of 114 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,821 with a recovery rate of 98.81 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 152 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,637 while the total number of positive cases is 2,99,406. As on Wednesday, there were 1,948 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 114 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,821 with a recovery rate of 98.81 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.1 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 41,201 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 658 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 88,42,852 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,99,406 have tested positive and 2,95,821 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five from Adilabad, four from Bhadradri, 25 from areas under GHMC, four from Jagtiyal, three from Jangaon, one each from Gadwal and Kamareddy, seven from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, five from Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, six from Mancherial, two from Medak, 11 from Medchal Malkajgiri, two from Mulugu, four from Nagarkurnool, six from Nalgonda, three from Nirmal, five from Nizamabad, six from Peddapalli, five from Siricilla, 10 from Rangareddy, five each from Sangareddy and Siddipet, two from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, three from Wanaparthy, seven from Warangal Urban and four from Yadadri.
