Covid-19: 1,536 new cases and three fatalities in Telangana
A total of 1,421 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,23,413 with a recovery rate of 92.12 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,536 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Monday taking the overall toll to 1,351 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,42,506. As on Monday, there were 17,742 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 1,421 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,23,413 with a recovery rate of 92.12 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 91.70 per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 45,021 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 415 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 43,94,330 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,42,506 have tested positive and 2,23,413 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 20 from Adilabad, 123 from Bhadradri, 281 from areas under GHMC, 37 from Jagtiyal, 18 from Jangaon, 19 from Bhupalpally, eight from Gadwal, 38 from Kamareddy, 76 from Karimnagar, 97 from Khammam, seven from Asifabad, 22 from Mahabubnagar, 24 from Mahabubabad, 37 from Mancherial, 21 from Medak, 96 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 26 from Mulugu, 32 from Nagarkurnool, 81 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, 22 from Nirmal, 32 from Nizamabad , 31 from Peddapally, 33 from Siricilla, 92 from Rangareddy, 21 from Sangareddy, 30 from Siddipet, 47 from Suryapet, 22 from Vikarabad, 32 from Wanaparthy, 23 from Warangal Rural, 49 from Warangal Urban and 31 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
