Covid-19: 166 new cases and two fatalities in Telangana
A total of 149 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,970 with a recovery rate of 98.79 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 166 new Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Thursday taking the cumulative number of fatalities to 1,639 while the total number of positive cases is 2,99,572. As on Thursday, there were 1,963 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 149 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,970 with a recovery rate of 98.79 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97 per cent.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, 40,443 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 658 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 88,83,295 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,99,572 have tested positive and 2,95,970 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included seven from Adilabad, five from Bhadradri, 27 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagtiyal, four from Jangaon, one from Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, nine from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, two from Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, two from Mahabubabad, five from Mancherial, four from Medak, 14 from Medchal Malkajgiri, two each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, seven from Nalgonda, one from Narayanpet, two from Nirmal, five from Nizamabad, two from Peddapalli, five from Siricilla, 12 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, four from Siddipet, two from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, four from Warangal Rural, six from Warangal Urban and five from Yadadri.
