COVID-19: 176 new cases and one fatality in Telangana
A total of 163 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,222 with a recovery rate of 98.80 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 176 new Covid-19 infections and one fatality on Saturday taking the cumulative number fatalities to 1,634 while the total number of positive cases is 2,98,807. As on Saturday, there were 1,951 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 163 persons recovered on Saturday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,95,222 with a recovery rate of 98.80 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 97.2 per cent.
Between Friday and Saturday, 40,985 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 640 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 87,00,651 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,98,807 have tested positive and 2,95,222 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included six from Adilabad, five from Bhadradri, 27 from areas under GHMC, nine from Jagtiyal, two each from Jangaon and Gadwal, three from Kamareddy, nine from Karimnagar, three each from Khammam and Mahabubnagar, six from Mancherial, five from Medak, 14 from Medchal Malkajgiri, three from Mulugu, six from Nalgonda, one from Nirmal, six from Nizamabad, five from Peddapalli, six from Siricilla, 14 from Rangareddy, 11 from Sangareddy, seven from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, three from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, three from Warangal Rural and seven from Warangal Urban.
