Covid-19: 536 new infections and three fatalities in Telangana
A total of 622 persons recovered on Tuesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,70,450 with a recovery rate of 96.88 per cent,.
Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 536 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Tuesday taking the overall toll to 1,502 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,79,135. As on Tuesday, there were 7,183 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 622 persons recovered on Tuesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,70,450 with a recovery rate of 96.88 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 95.2 per cent.
Between Monday and Tuesday, 52,057 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 676 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 62,57,745 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,79,135 have tested positive and 2,70,450 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included nine from Adilabad, 26 from Bhadradri, 107 from areas under GHMC, 14 from Jagtiyal, eight from Jangaon, seven from Bhupalpally, three from Gadwal, six from Kamareddy, 22 from Karimnagar, 26 from Khammam, seven from Asifabad, 11 from Mahabubnagar, eight from Mahabubabad, 17 from Mancherial, eight from Medak, 43 from Medchal Malkajgiri, nine from Mulugu, seven from Nagarkurnool, 19 from Nalgonda, five from Nirmal, 15 each from Nizamabad and Pedapalli, nine from Siricilla, 41 from Rangareddy, 19 from Sangareddy, 16 from Siddipet, 11 from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, six from Warangal Rural, 27 from Warangal Urban, eight from Yadadri.
