Covid-19: 612 new infections and three fatalities in Telangana
A total of 502 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,67,427 with a recovery rate of 96.71 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 612 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Thursday taking the overall toll to 1,485 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,76,516. As on Thursday, there were 7,604 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 502 persons recovered on Thursday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,67,427 with a recovery rate of 96.71 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 94.8 per cent.
Between Wednesday and Thursday, 56,178 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 677 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 60,29,209 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,76,516 have tested positive and 2,67,427 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 12 from Adilabad, 23 from Bhadradri, 144 from areas under GHMC, 12 from Jagtiyal, 10 from Jangaon, nine from Bhupalpally, seven from Gadwal, six from Kamareddy, 28 from Karimnagar, 18 from Khammam, six from Asifabad, seven from Mahabubnagar, 13 from Mahabubabad, 15 from Mancherial, 11 from Medak, 60 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 12 from Mulugu, nine from Nagarkurnool, 21 from Nalgonda, three from Narayanpet, four from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 11 each from Pedapalli and Siricilla, 73 from Rangareddy, 15 from Sangareddy, seven from Siddipet, nine from Suryapet, two from Vikarabad, four from Wanaparthy, five from Warangal Rural, 29 from Warangal Urban and nine from Yadadri.
