Covid-19: 721 new infections and three fatalities in Telangana
A total of 753 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,66,120 with a recovery rate of 96.67 per cent.

Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 721 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Tuesday taking the overall toll to 1,480 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,75,261. As on Tuesday, there were 7,661 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 753 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,66,120 with a recovery rate of 96.67 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 94.6 per cent.
Between Monday and Tuesday, 51,402 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 684 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 59,18,635 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,75,261 have tested positive and 2,66,120 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included five from Adilabad, 26 from Bhadradri, 123 from areas under GHMC, 17 from Jagtiyal, nine from Jangaon, 10 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 11 from Kamareddy, 37 from Karimnagar, 32 from Khammam, eight from Komarambheem Asifabad, 17 from Mahabubnagar, 16 from Mahabubabad, 27 from Mancherial, 12 from Medak, 58 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 14 from Mulugu, 10 from Nagarkurnool, 31 from Nalgonda, three from Nirmal, 18 from Nizamabad, 24 from Pedapalli, nine from Rajanna Siricilla, 51 from Rangareddy, 32 from Sangareddy, 18 from Siddipet, 21 from Suryapet, nine from Vikarabad, two from Wanaparthy, 10 from Warangal Rural, 47 from Warangal Urban and 14 from Yadadri Bhongir.
