COVID-19: 7754 cases and 51 fatalities in Telangana on Friday
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 77, 930 Covid rapid tests of which results of 5,186 samples are awaited. On Friday, 6542 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 81.68 percent.
Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 7,754 new Covid cases and 51 fatalities on Friday, taking the number of deaths to 2,312 and total number of positive cases so far to 4,43,360. The number of active cases in Telangana has reached 78,888.
Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 77, 930 Covid rapid tests of which results of 5,186 samples are awaited. On Friday, 6542 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 81.68 percent.
So far, a total of 1, 29, 83, 784 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 4, 43, 360 have tested positive and 3, 62, 160 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 109 from Adilabad, 108 from Bhadradri, 1507 from areas under GHMC, 255 from Jagtiyal, 74 from Jangaon, 73 from Bhupalpally, 100 Gadwal, 143 from Kamareddy, 281 from Karimnagar, 230 from Khammam, 101 from Asifabad, 279 from Mahabubnagar, 125 from Mahabubabad, 216 from Mancherial, 106 from Medak, 630 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 41 from Mulugu, 203 from Nagarkurnool, 231 from Nalgonda, 44 from Narayanpet, 86 from Nirmal, 267 from Nizamabad, 162 from Peddapalli, 102 from Siricilla, 544 from Rangareddy, 325 from Sangareddy, 279 from Siddipet, 242 each from Suryapet and Vikarabad, 103 from Wanaparthy, 165 from Warangal Rural, 208 from Warangal Urban and 173 from Bhongir.
