Covid booster dose vaccination launched in Khammam
Khammam: Administering of Covid vaccine booster dose to frontline warriors kick-started in Khammam on Monday.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar along with District Collector VP Gautham launched the vaccination drive at District Hospital. Speaking on the occasion the minister said in view of the spread of Omicron and increasing Covid cases the State government decided to give booster doses to senior citizens and frontline warriors who received two doses of the Covid vaccine.
Collector informed that the booster dose would be given at District Hospital, four Urban Health Centres in Khammam, at Women’s College, Government PG College at Gandhi Chowk, Government High School at NTR Circle, Shanti Nagar College and Gurukul Colleges.
On the occasion ZP Chairman L Kamal Raju, DCC Bank Chairman K Nagabhushanam, SUDA Chairman B Vijay Kumar and Collector Gautham were administered Covid booster dose.
