Covid norms to be followed at polling booths: Suryapet Collector
Assistant Returning Officer T Vinay Krishna Reddy said that polling of graduates MLC elections would be conducted with 90 polling stations in Suryapet district
Officials on polling duty at the Distribution and Reception Centre in SV College at Suryapet on Saturday.
Suryapet: Suryapet district Collector and Assistant Returning Officer T Vinay Krishna Reddy on Saturday instructed the polling staff to ensure strict implementation of COVID-19 norms at all the polling stations of Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates MLC elections in the district.
Giving necessary instructions to the polling staff at Distribution and Reception Centre in SV College at Suryapet, Vinay Krishna Reddy said that polling of graduates MLC elections would be conducted with 90 polling stations in the district. As per the instructions of the Elections Commission, COVID-19 norms would be followed at the polling stations.
He informed 38 micro observers were posted to 38 sensitive polling stations and arrangements were also made for webcasting of polling process at 12 polling stations in the district. The sectorial officers should be sent a report to the Assistant Returning Office immediately after reaching of ballot papers and ballot boxes to their polling stations.
