Visakhapatnam: A youth undergoing treatment for coronavirus in hospital committed suicide hanging himself from the ceiling on Sunday night.
Sunil, a seaman in merchant navy, was admitted in a private hospital near the Collectorate here recently. He was facing harassment for some time from a girl whom he loved who had filed a case against him.
Testing positive for COVID further depressed him, which perhaps led him to take the extreme step, his relatives feel.
