Covid: Telangana adds 748 new cases, 8 deaths
Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 81,405 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,077 samples are awaited.
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 748 new Covid infections and eight fatalities till Sunday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,635 and the total number of positive cases to 6,20,613. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday, is 14,302.
Between Saturday and Sunday, authorities conducted 81,405 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,077 samples are awaited. On Sunday, 1,492 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 97.10 percent. So far, a total of 1,83,27,887 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,20,613 have tested positive and 6,02,676 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 42 from Bhadradri, 121 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, six from Jangaon, 18 from Bhupalpally, six from Gadwal, 50 from Karimnagar, 61 cases from Khammam, 16 from Mahabubnagar, 29 from Mahabubabad, 25 from Mancherial, four from Medak, 36 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 14 from Mulugu, 10 from Nagarkurnool, 34 from Nalgonda, six from Narayanpet, one from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 21 from Peddapalli, 15 from Siricilla, 49 from Rangareddy, 24 from Sangareddy, 22 from Siddipet, 44 from Suryapet, eight from Vikarabad, 13 from Wanaparthy, 10 from Warangal Rural, 25 from Warangal Urban and 12 from Bhongir.
