Staff nurse R Sukanya was administered the first vaccine shot in Sangareddy to mark the launch of immunisation drive.
Sangareddy: Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy said the vaccination drive against Covid-19 had brought an end to the 10-month long hardships of the people besides restoring the pre-Covid-19 situation in the State. He was confident that the vaccination programme will provide a much-needed relief to the citizens.
The parliamentarian launched the Covid-19 vaccination administration drive at Urban Primary Health Centre at Indira Nagar on Saturday, where staff nurse R Sukanya was administered the first vaccine shot in Sangareddy to mark the launch of immunisation drive.
Sangareddy Collector M Hanumantha Rao said they will administer vaccine to 10,842 frontline warriors during the next four to five days. He has said that they all need to take second dose of vaccination in 28 days’ time. He said that they have inoculated 180 persons at six places across Sangareddy district on Saturday. The Collector later examined the Covid-19 vaccination drive. Sangareddy Municipal Chairperson Bongula Vijayalakshmi, DMHO Dr Mojiram Rathod and others were present.
