Hyderabad: The North Zone Task Force busted an IPL cricket betting racket and arrested four persons form the Indirapuri Railway Colony in Marredpally here on Thursday late night. Police seized Rs 1.50 lakh and other material from them.

The arrested persons were K Saleem, an organiser, Anwar Akbar Khoja, a sub-bookie, Sandeep Agarwal and K Abhilash, both punters. All were residents of Marredpally. According to the Task Force, Saleem came into contact with Remmy, an organiser from Nagpur in Maharashtra and through him, got into the betting business. He collected bets from punters through e-wallets with the help of his other associates.
