Hyderabad: Starring newbies Misha Narang and Nikhisha and Harsha Narra in the lead roles, upcomig movie ‘Missing’ will hit the screens on November 19. Actor Nikhisha plays the girl who goes missing in the movie while Misha Narang is donning the role of a journalist. Directed by Srini Josyula, the movie’s trailer was formally launched in the city.
Actor Nikhisha, who plays the character of the missing girl, says that the story has elements of action, comedy and romance. “There is no vulgarity in the film, but, of course, there is romance and there are multi-layered characters. I am happy to make my debut through this movie,” says Nikhisha, adding that she is excited to know the response of viewers.
‘Missing’ was shot during the pandemic. However, it got delayed due to the lockdown as the makers wanted to release it on the big screen, she added.
Actor Misha Narang is playing the role of a journalist. “She has a backstory before taking up the profession. She is very keen about the case of the missing girl in the city. She helps the protagonist in tracing the girl. Is the missing girl Shruthi alive? What did kidnappers need from her? These are going to be the mystery elements that only audiences can explore. I made my debut with ‘Thellavarithe Guruvaram’.”
The movie is being jointly produced by Bhaskar Josyula and Lakshmi Seshagiri Rao under the banner Bajarangbali Creations.
