Crocodile sighted on banks of Wardha river in Asifabad, farmers panic

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A crocodile was sighted on the banks of the Wardha river near Veerdhandi village in Koutala mandal on Monday morning, triggering panic among farmers and local residents.
Locals said an adult crocodile was seen basking in the sun on the riverbank. They expressed fear after spotting the crocodile in the river for the first time in recent times and urged officials to take steps to prevent any loss of human life by diverting it into deeper parts of the river.
Farmers said they had postponed farm activities following the presence of the crocodile in the area.
