CRPF Hyderabad leads Shramdaan drive on Srisailam highway in Chandrayangutta
The CRPF Group Centre in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, conducted a cleanliness drive under the nationwide “Shramdaan” initiative, with officers and community members cleaning a stretch of the Srisailam highway. Led by senior officials, the event emphasised public hygiene and civic responsibility.

Hyderabad: The Central Reserve Police Force , Group Centre , Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad organized a cleanliness drive as part of nationwide “Shramdaan (ek din, ek ghanta, ek saath)” on Thursday.
As part of the program, the CRPF personnel led by Uday Bhaskar Billa, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CRPF Hyderabad, P Chandrasekhar DC, Dhruv Narayan DC cleaned up the road stretch on the Srisailam highway.
The CRPF personnel cleared the highway, cleared and collected the trash in plastic bags. It was later transported to the garbage dump yard in the CRPF campus.
The local community leaders including Talha Kaseri and others joined the program. Uday Bhaskar Billa, DIGP asked the people to keep their surroundings clean and tidy in order to prevent health hazards and diseases. The CRPF GC Chandrayangutta regularly organizes social activities including blood donation camps, health awareness programs and cleanliness drives.
