Hyderabad: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be visiting Muchintal and ICRISAT on Saturday, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar held a co-ordination meeting with Heads of different department in connection with the arrangements.
The Chief Secretary directed the officials of concerned departments to work in co-ordination to make the arrangements and make Prime Minister’s visit to the State a Grand success.
He directed Police Department to make adequate security arrangements, Law and Order, Traffic and Bandobast as per Blue Book at the venues. He directed Medical and Health Department to position specialist medical teams along with equipment at the venues.
The Medical and Health Department Secretary was instructed to ensure covid-19 protocols during the visit of VVIP. All the pass holders of VVIP should be tested RTPCR prior to the scheduled programme and also deployed sufficient number of screening teams for Covid-19, he said.
The Chief Secretary directed R&B department officials to undertake road repair works and arrange sufficient lighting arrangements on the routes used by the convoy of the Prime Minister.
He directed Energy Department officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply at all the places of VIP visit. He directed Collectors of Rangareddy and Sangareddy to co-ordinate the arrangements at Shamshabad Airport and other venues with the organizers of the events.
DGP M.Mahender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary (Energy) Sunil Sharma, Hyderabad Police Commissioner C V Anand and other senior officials participated in the meeting.
