Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Serilingampally Zone, has asked the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company (TSSPDCL) to stop power supply to a cell phone tower in Miyapur. This came following a complaint to GHMC from an activist Vinay Vangala. The complainant stated that the tower was located in the park of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority layout and requested GHMC to remove the tower.
The civic body in the written representation to TSSPDCL mentioned that as there was no reply from the network provider to the notice served, it was asking the electricity department to disconnect the power supply in order to initiate further action.
