Cyberabad AHTU rescues 11 victims in trafficking cases
In a week-long special operation, the Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit rescued 11 victims and arrested 14 persons in trafficking cases. The drive, held between November 22 and 28, also saw 38 sex workers and one transgender person detained for questioning.

Hyderabad: In a week-long special operation, the Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) team rescued 11 victims and nabbed 14 persons in human trafficking cases.
During the operation conducted between November 22 and 28, a total of 38 sex workers and one transgender person were detained for questioning.
Further, the She Teams intensified field surveillance with 167 decoy operations, catching 67 persons engaged in indecent behaviour in public places. Police booked 86 petty cases and addressed 22 complaints received from women.
Family Counselling Centres facilitated the reunion of 29 couples involved in marital disputes.
