Cyberabad AHTU rescues six victims in week-long anti-trafficking drive
During a special drive from December 13 to 19, Cyberabad police rescued six trafficking victims and arrested two persons. She Teams conducted 137 decoy operations, booked petty cases, counselled offenders, and received multiple complaints from women across the commissionerate.

Hyderabad: As part of a week-long special drive from December 13 to 19, the Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) conducted night raids across the commissionerate, leading to the arrest of six sex workers and 11 transgender persons.
During the operations, six victims were rescued and two persons were arrested in connection with two cases registered under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
Meanwhile, Cyberabad She Teams carried out 137 decoy operations at public places and caught 66 persons red-handed while indulging in indecent acts.
Petty cases were booked in 59 instances, while the remaining individuals were counselled. The She Teams also received 23 complaints from women through various modes during the period.
