Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has reaffirmed the city police’s commitment to women’s safety, warning that cyberstalking and digital blackmail will be dealt with uncompromisingly. The police assured confidentiality, swift response, and victim-centric handling of cases while maintaining a strong preventive presence across public spaces.

Cyberabad Police rescued 337 children and apprehended 55 offenders during a week-long women and child safety drive. The She Teams conducted decoy operations, acted on complaints, and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit registered 119 cases under juvenile and child labour laws.

The Hyderabad She Teams strengthened women’s safety efforts in December by registering FIRs, securing convictions, and conducting awareness programmes. Police also urged women to stay alert online and report harassment immediately through official helplines.

Cyberabad She Teams conducted 127 decoy operations between January 3 and 9, catching 59 persons for harassing women in public places. During the same period, police booked 63 petty cases and received 17 complaints from women through multiple channels.

Hyderabad She Teams intensified action against harassment in December 2025, receiving 98 complaints and registering 14 FIRs. Several offenders were arrested, counselled, or jailed, while awareness drives continued across the city and Malkajgiri police limits.

In 2025, Cyberabad AHTU registered 103 human trafficking cases, rescuing 195 victims and deporting 10 foreign nationals. She Teams handled over 1,000 petitions, child rescue operations saved 2,298 children, and street prostitution enforcement led to 508 arrests.

During a special drive from December 13 to 19, Cyberabad police rescued six trafficking victims and arrested two persons. She Teams conducted 137 decoy operations, booked petty cases, counselled offenders, and received multiple complaints from women across the commissionerate.

The Cyberabad Women and Children Safety Wing conducted a special drive from 5 to 11 October, rescuing two victims of sex trafficking and arresting four accused.

In just 15 days, Rachakonda SHE Teams caught 310 people, including 129 minors, for harassing women in public places. They handled 339 complaints and took strong action through counseling, preventive cases, and criminal charges. Metro violators were also fined

In a fortnight-long drive, Rachakonda She Teams caught 214 persons, including 120 minors, for harassing women at public places. They booked cases, conducted counselling, and held awareness programmes, while urging women to report harassment through WhatsApp or Dial 100.

The Cyberabad She Teams caught 45 persons for harassing women during a special drive. They carried out 152 decoy operations, counselled families, rescued 15 persons from prostitution, and held awareness sessions on trafficking, cyber fraud, child marriages and women’s safety

Hyderabad City Police’s She Teams have deployed special measures to protect women and children during Ganesh festivities. Officers in plain clothes, backed by CCTV surveillance, will monitor pandals and immersion routes, with strict action against harassment or misconduct.

Cyberabad She Teams caught 70 people in public places and held 143 decoy operations, while anti human trafficking raids rescued 31 persons. Suraksha Kavach program was also launched to strengthen student safety.

Continuing its efforts to improve women's safety, the Cyberabad Women and Children Safety Wing arrested 33 individuals for harassing women in public during decoy operations conducted between August 3 and 8. The offenders were sent for mandatory behavioral counseling.

Rachakonda She Teams apprehended 198 individuals, including 42 minors, for harassing women between July 1 and 15. Officials booked cases, conducted counselling, and launched awareness drives, preventing two child marriages. Citizens can report harassment via WhatsApp at 8712662111 or Dial 100.

As part of Operation Muskaan-XI, 404 children were rescued, 390 reunited with their families, and 14 were placed in shelter homes.

Individuals were caught red-handed indulging in various forms of harassment, including eve-teasing and inappropriate behaviour, during the recent Bonalu celebrations held at various temples across Hyderabad
