Cyberabad Commissioner inspects IIIT Junction flyover works

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr M. Ramesh inspected ongoing flyover and underpass works at IIIT Junction, Gachibowli, directing officials to ensure smooth traffic flow, proper diversions, and public safety measures during construction.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh on Tuesday inspected the ongoing development works at the IIIT Junction in Gachibowli.

He reviewed the progress of the multi-level flyovers and underpasses being constructed to alleviate traffic congestion within the IT Corridor area.


The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police (CP) directed officials to implement appropriate traffic diversions to ensure that the public do not face any inconvenience while the construction works are in progress.

He instructed officials to pay special attention to the development of alternative routes and to take all necessary measures to facilitate the smooth flow of vehicular traffic.

Further, the Commissioner directed that proper signboards, barricades, and lighting be installed at key locations, and that traffic personnel be deployed in areas where they are most needed. The Cyberabad CP emphasized that all departments must work in coordination to ensure the project works are completed within the stipulated deadline, and that the utmost priority be accorded to public safety.

Cyberabad Traffic Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Seshadri Reddy, Traffic Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Hanumantha Rao, officials from the CMC Engineering Department, and other senior police officials participated in this visit.
