Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra on Saturday held a review meeting with Station House Officers of police stations where there was a high pendency of cases.

He asked the officers to prepare a specific plan of action to end the pendency in a time-bound manner by using available resources. The Commissioner also reviewed the cases booked under the NDPS Act and women safety. “Investigation of cases will be reviewed on a regular basis to improve standards. Expeditious investigation of cases is crucial in criminal justice system,” he said.
