Cyberabad police arrest man for abusing actress Renu Desai on Instagram

Cyberabad Police arrested Idadasu Apparao from Visakhapatnam for posting abusive comments on actress Renu Desai’s Instagram reel using a fake account. Authorities traced his activity and advised the public to report cybercrime via the 1930 helpline.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Cybercrime Police on Thursday arrested a man for abusive comments on actress Renu Desai on social media.

The suspect, identified as Idadasu Apparao of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, had watched a reel featuring Renu Desai on Instagram and subsequently posted an inappropriate comment from a fake account on it.

Police tracked the digital activity and located the suspect in Visakhapatnam, where he was taken into custody and brought to Hyderabad.
