Cyberabad police book 91 drug cases, arrest 209 in 3 months

Cyberabad Police registered 91 drug cases and arrested 209 people between January and March. In the crackdown, drugs worth Rs 2.29 crore were seized, including marijuana, MDMA, hashish oil, opium, heroin, and LSD from both synthetic and conventional networks.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police have booked a total of 91 drug-related cases and arrested 209 persons on charges of drug peddling in the last three months, between January and March. During the same period, a variety of drugs worth Rs 2.29 crore were seized.

Officials said the crackdown targeted both conventional and synthetic drug networks. Marijuana formed majority of seizures, along with MDMA, hashish oil, opium, heroin, and LSD.
