Cyberabad police caught 457 for drunken driving in weekend operation

Cyberabad police caught 457 motorists for drunk driving during Saturday’s special checks. Those booked include 346 two-wheeler riders and 86 car drivers. Twenty-four drivers had very high alcohol levels. Offenders face court cases and license suspension

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police, during the weekend special drunken driving checking conducted on Saturday, caught 457 persons and booked cases against them.

Among those booked are 346 two-wheeler riders, 20 three-wheeler drivers, 86 four-wheeler drivers and five heavy vehicle drivers. Among those held 24 drivers tested BAC levels ranging between 301 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/100 ml.
