Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police solved the case of the murder of a housewife reported three days ago and arrested three persons on Saturday.
The arrested are Harsh Kumar (20), Roshan Singh (22) and Raju Varma (19), all natives of Jharkhand.
According to the police, on Wednesday the victim, Renuka Agarwal, was found murdered at her flat in Swan Lake Apartments at Kukatpally.
After the incident, a case was registered and special teams suspected the role of her servant Harsh and another servant, Roshan, in the murder as both of them went missing after the crime.
Harsh had secured a job with the family of Renuka Agarwal a few weeks ago and planned to commit robbery in the house. “On Wednesday, when the husband and son of the victim left for the shop, Harsh and Roshan tied her hands and legs and brutally murdered her. Thereafter, they looted gold ornaments, cash and watches and left for Ranchi, Jharkhand,” said Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty.
The police formed five teams and managed to nab Harsh and Roshan in Jharkhand. One person, Raju Varma, who had provided shelter to the two suspects, was also arrested.
The police said Roshan Singh was involved in three cases in Jharkhand and was a habitual property offender. He had taken a job at a flat in the same apartment and was waiting for an opportunity to commit crime when he came across Harsh. Both of them discussed and managed to commit the crime.
The police recovered gold ornaments, 16 watches, two mobile phones and other items from them.
