Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police continue their effort to nab the six offenders who opened fire at the deputy manager at a jewellery shop in Chandanagar and looted jewellery on Tuesday.
Madhapur DCP, Dr G Vineeth, said that six teams from the Special Operations Team, Central Crime Stations and local law and order police are on the field to nab the offenders.
The police teams have conducted searches at different places in Sangareddy, Nizamabad, Medak and other districts. “So far, no one was apprehended,” he said.
The DCP said it was a preplanned dacoity and the gang could have conducted homework before carrying out the heist. “Only silver ornaments were taken away from the gang,” the official clarified.
