Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police continued its efforts to nab union Minister, Bandi Sanjay’s son, Bandi Sai Bagheerath, who is absconding after a POCSO case was registered against him at Petbasheerabad police station in the city last week.
The police teams have conducted a search for Sai Bageerath at a few places in Delhi, and Karimnagar and Hyderabad in Telangana. However, the police could not apprehend him. The case was registered after the mother of a victim, made a complaint at the Petbasheerabad police station against Bagheerath alleging that he has sexually assaulted her daughter on several instances.
Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police had meanwhile sent a second notice to the Dr. Ch Vamshi Krishna, maternal uncle of Sai Bagheerath asking him to appear for questioning along with his nephew. The last location of Sai Bagheerath, was traced at the house of his uncle raising suspicion that the latter has knowledge of the whereabouts of Sai Bagheerath.
The police had earlier on Tuesday issued a notice to Vamshi Krishna directing him to appear along with Sai Bagheerath before the police by Wednesday 2 pm. However, he failed to turn up.
