Hyderabad: In a move to address the growing traffic concerns in the Cyberabad region, the Cyberabad police in collaboration with IT sector leaders and associations including Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) are exploring short-term and medium-term solutions to ease traffic congestion in the IT hubs of Hi-tec City and the Financial District.

As a part of these efforts, on Monday, the Cyberabad Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty along with Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic Cyberabad, D. Some of the strategies discussed involved staggered shifts to ease traffic, information sharing on arrival patterns of employees, installation of cameras for live monitoring of traffic flow, support with traffic marshals to enable better traffic management, improvement of roads and creating alternative routes.
