Cyberabad police nab 268 persons for drunk driving in Hyderabad
The traffic wing conducted the checks at different points in Madhapur, Gachibowli, Alwal, Rajendranagar, Shamshabad, Shankerpally, Miyapur and other places.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police caught 268 persons during a drunk and drive checking in different areas on Friday night.
The traffic wing conducted the checks at different points in Madhapur, Gachibowli, Alwal, Rajendranagar, Shamshabad, Shankerpally, Miyapur and other places.
The police detained 223 two wheelers, 10 three wheelers, 33 four wheelers and two trucks and cases were booked against those found driving in an inebriated condition.
A total of 35 persons had blood alcohol concentration level ranging between 200 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/ 100 ml. All those caught will be produced before the court, the traffic police said.
