Cyberabad police rescue 337 children, 55 arrested during women, child safety drive
Cyberabad Police rescued 337 children and apprehended 55 offenders during a week-long women and child safety drive. The She Teams conducted decoy operations, acted on complaints, and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit registered 119 cases under juvenile and child labour laws.

Hyderabad: As many as 55 persons were caught and 337 children were rescued during a week-long women and child safety drive conducted by Cyberabad Police from January 17 to 23.
The She Teams carried out 176 decoy operations at public places, booking petty cases in 45 incidents related to indecent behaviour, while the remaining offenders were counseled. The teams also received 18 complaints from women through different reporting modes and acted on them.
Under Operation Smile-XII, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit registered 119 cases under the Juvenile Justice Act and the Child Labour Act, leading to the rescue of 329 boys and eight girls.
During the same period, the police also facilitated counseling in 30 marital and family disputes, helping reunite families.
