Cyberabad police rescue four, nab 30 in anti-trafficking and harassment drive

Cyberabad police intensified their crackdown on trafficking and harassment, rescuing four victims and arresting 30 individuals in separate operations. She Teams conducted 140 decoy operations and addressed 21 complaints from women.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit registered two flesh trade cases in Narsingi and Allapur, rescuing four victims and arresting three suspects over the past week.

Similarly, the She Teams conducted 140 decoy operations, nabbing 27 individuals for indecent acts in public and harassment of women. Apart from this, 21 complaints from women were registered and resolved.

Officials said, during the same period, awareness drives and counselling sessions reached over 140 participants, covering issues from human trafficking to cyber safety.
