Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police arrested nine persons and seized 8.6 kg of ganja and a ganja plant during the special drive.
Another 101 e-petty cases were also registered against those persons found selling tobacco products illegally in the last two days.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra warned the drug peddlers of invoking PD Act against them and also opened history sheets. “Bulk buyers, local retailers and transporters are on police radar to curb ganja peddling and consumption. People should inform us on 9590617444 if they come across such activities,” he said.
