Cyberabad police to question friends of Bandi Bageerath in POCSO case
Cyberabad police are planning to question several friends of Bandi Bageerath in the ongoing POCSO case after the complainants alleged some were present during instances of abuse. Police may also issue notices to 10 persons accused of attempting to broker a compromise.
Hyderabad: In the ongoing pocso case involving union Minister for State (Home), Bandi Sanjay’s son Bandi Bageerath, the Cyberabad police are planning to question several of his friends as part of the investigation.
According to the complaint filed by the victim who is a minor and her mother, some of Bageerath’s friends were allegedly present during multiple instances of abuse.
The complainants also submitted the names of 10 individuals, alleging that they tried to broker a compromise in the case.
Based on this information, the Pet-Basheerabad police have reportedly decided to issue notices to the individuals in a few days, and they will be called in for questioning as the probe intensifies.
