Cyberabad police trace and return 1,061 lost mobile phones
Cyberabad police traced and returned 1,061 lost and misplaced mobile phones worth Rs 3.20 crore to their owners. The devices were located through the CEIR system and recovered by police teams from different parts of the country using technology.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police traced and handed over 1,061 mobile phones worth nearly Rs 3.20 crore to their owners who had lost or misplaced the gadgets.
Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty on Thursday handed over the mobile phones that were traced and recovered by different teams of the Cyberabad police from across the country.
The owners had informed the police about the loss of their gadgets through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR). After receiving the complaints, the police began an enquiry and, with the help of technology, traced and recovered the devices.
