Cyberabad traffic police issues weather advisory as thunderstorms likely in Hyderabad on Friday

The Cyberabad Traffic Police have urged Hyderabad residents to stay alert to changing weather conditions, with moderate to intense thunderstorms forecast from Friday evening to early Saturday morning. Rainfall between 25 mm and 45 mm is possible in some localities.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad traffic police on Friday morning advised people of Hyderabad to stay updated with the changing weather conditions and take necessary precautions especially during the night hours.

“The next 24-hours on the GHMC area are expected to bring a mix of weather conditions. Until evening, most parts of the city will remain dry, with only a few areas seeing light, isolated rain. However, from around 5 pm to 2 am, scattered moderate to intense thunderstorms are likely to develop across different zones. Following this, between 2 amd and 9 am, light to moderate rainfall is expected in some areas. Its important to note that today’s (Friday) rainfall is not expected to be as extreme as yesterday’s (Thursday). Some localities may receive around 25 mm to 45 mm of rain,” the Cyberabad Traffic police in its weather advisory on Friday morning said.
