Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) has advised IT and corporate firms in the region to consider adopting work from home on Friday, in view of persistent overnight rains and forecasts of continued downpour throughout the day.

The advisory, issued by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Gajarao Bhupal highlights concerns over commuter safety, traffic congestion, productivity, and the need to ensure smooth movement of emergency services.

Authorities have urged companies in the Cyberabad IT corridor to cooperate, noting that such measures would help reduce strain on city roads and safeguard employees during adverse weather conditions.
