Hyderabad: Prominent cyclist and wellness advocate Kanthi Dutt has embarked on an 800-kilometer cycling expedition titled ‘The Fear Project’ from Hyderabad to Mumbai.

The eight-day ultra endurance cycling expedition, being organized in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), is aimed at inspiring the general public to embrace fitness and integrate cycling into their daily lives.

Over the course of eight days, Kanthi will also visit schools and colleges to interact with students and focus on the importance of physical health and the benefits of a disciplined lifestyle.

A series of awareness programs are scheduled at 30 different locations between Hyderabad and Mumbai to discuss mental and physical well-being. Beyond fitness, the mission promotes cycling as a sustainable and eco-friendly mode of transportation to protect the environment, a press release said.

“I am thrilled to begin this 8-day journey from Hyderabad to Mumbai. Cycling is not just a form of exercise; it is a pathway to mental clarity and physical resilience. My goal is to reach as many young people as possible, encouraging them to make fitness a priority,” Kanthi Dutt said.

The flagging-off ceremony of the cycling expedition, which will conclude in Mumbai on March 14, held in Hyderabad was attended by fitness enthusiasts and distinguished personalities from all walks of life.
