The decision comes as a mark of respect for the recent stampede tragedy in Tirupati. The film’s team extended their condolences and opted to cancel the event to honor the sentiments of those affected by the unfortunate incident.

Daaku Maharaj stars Balakrishna, Pragya Jaiswal, Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Srinath and Bobby Simha. Directed by Bobby and produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film features music composed by Thaman.

The movie is slated for a grand release in theaters on January 12, 2025
