Hyderabad: The depleted Apex Council of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, which held an emergency meeting on Saturday, decided to authorise incumbent vice-president Daljit Singh to be the in-charge president till further notice.
This, according to the HCA Constitution, is an automatic choice in case of any exigency.
This has been mandated because of the ongoing criminal proceedings against the top brass of the HCA, including the president, secretary, treasurer, and former chief executive officer.
However, it had not yet been confirmed whether at today’s meeting any decision was taken about convening a special general body meeting to put before the affiliated HCA members the pros and cons of the latest developments and also to take a call on the future course of action.
