Hyderabad: Many a time you might have watched a very interesting dance step on Instagram (reels), Facebook (short videos) or TikTok, and felt inspired enough to give it a try yourself. Well, that is exactly what these short videos on social media platforms are doing – making people groove to the tunes of those who uploaded the video – almost literally!
Be it the just-released song or retro mashups, many find these short video features on social media platforms to showcase some hidden talent of people who ace the dance moves and also improvise on the choreography, which makes even the professionals go gaga over it.

However, these short reels have also been a booster to a few traditional Indian dance forms. Be it a fusion of dance form with retro songs or simply a beautiful display of the steps, Instagram reels have definitely opened up a lot of avenues for many aspiring and upcoming dancers.
